Furqan Khan has over 24 years of experience in ICT as an adept trainer, consultant, implementer & auditor. He has strong command over CMMI, information security management, IT service management, IT governance, quality management, integrated management systems, and process engineering. He started his career with Coca-Cola Export Corporation in 1994, later he joined NetSol Technologies Limited worked as head of Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and Information Security. He progressed through his career as Senior Vice President while making significant contribution towards success of the company. At NetSol he has lead several process improvement initiatives to achieve CMMI Maturity Level 5 and certification against ISO 9001, ISO 27001 & ISO 20000. Furqan has been managing portfolio of a wide range of information security solutions from leading vendors as well as training & consulting services in the areas of CMMI, information security, IT governance, risk management and IT service management.

Mr. Khan is Certified Instructor for CMMI authorized by CMMI Institute – USA, and PECB Certified Trainer authorized by Professional Evaluation and Certification Board – Canada. He holds ISACA professional certifications as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). Mr. Khan holds certifications for ITIL, COBIT and various ISO standards. He is Lead Auditor for ISO 27001 (ISMS) and ISO 22301 (BCMS), besides that he holds several PECB certifications such as PECB Certified ISO 27032 Lead Cyber Security Manager, ISO 27005 Lead Risk Manager, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and ISO 27002 Lead Manager.

Furqan Khan has been actively involved in providing training, consulting, appraisal & audit services in the areas related to CMMI, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, IT Governance, Risk Management, and ISO 9001 to the clients in USA, UK, KSA, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Pakistan with diverse industry exposure to IT, Oil & Gas, Telecom, Banking, Chemicals, Health Care, Defense, and Services sectors.

Muhammad Kamran Khan

Principal Consultant

Kamran Khan has over 19 years of experience in ICT as a Project Manager, Scrum Master & IT Professional. He has strong command over Scrum and Agile transformation, Scrum Coaching, Project Management, and process engineering. He started his career with Softech Systems in 1998, later he joined NetSol Technologies Limited in 2000. From 2003 onwards he shifted his focus to project management and software delivery he served Soundview Technologies as Manager Operations and Development from 2004 to 2010. From 2010 to 2016 he worked with NorthBay solutions as senior project manager and associate director.

Kamran Khan is Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance – USA, and Certified Agile Practitioner from Project Management Institute PMI USA. He has MS in Software Project Management with masters in computer science.

He worked with a variety of solutions including big data, cloud solutions and porting, learning management systems, e-commerce, applications and games for Android and iOS, online cab reservation system, web applications, leasing, client relationship management systems(CRM), content management systems(CMS) and finance and accounting solutions.

Some of the clients Kamran worked with are Mozilla-Fire Fox, TapJoy, Educators Publishing Services, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mobilityware and Daimler Chrysler.

Waheed Ur Rehman

Principal Architect

Waheed ur Rahman has over 30 years of diverse experience in the field of Project Management, ERP Design/Development, Architectural Designing, and Software Development. He has started his career in 1985, and gained valuable experience in application designing and development for lease and finance, trading, manufacturing, education as well as services industry.

Waheed was appointed as Assistant Manager at Rupali Group of Industries in 1987 for designing and developing a suite of mission critical applications for the whole group. Being successful in all of his assignments, after implementing an integrated financial and production systems for Rupali Group, he also developed a comprehensive retail banking software which implemented at five (05) branches of Soneri Bank (a venture of Rupali Group). In 1994, Waheed took an initiative of establishing an independent software development company “Revmedia Integrated System (RiS)”. He earned contracts of respectable companies like, ICI Pakistan Limited, Rafhan Maize, Halima Garments, Style Enterprises, Spinzer Travels (GSA of Pakistan International Airlines), Interhom (Pvt) Ltd, and many more. In 1996, he joined NestSol Technologies and worked as Senior Project Manager. During his stay with Netsol, he actively served critical area of Business Development, Project Management, and Quality Implementation.

Waheed has an extensive international experience of working with Daimler-Chrysler Financial Services (DCFS – a merger of Daimler Benz (Germany) and Chrysler Motors (USA)) in different countries including England, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka.

After joining Avanzar Business Technologies in 2007, Waheed performed in the capacity of Technology & Business Head, Waheed designed a comprehensive modular yet integrated ERP solution for mid-large sized enterprises, and an integrated application for education sector. His solutions are implemented at more than 30 campuses, and industries including Rupali Foods, Learning Edge Academic Network, Al-Karam Aluminum, Techno Serve within Pakistan & abroad.
